This man is dancing the traditional ancient and now almost extinct Kathkali dance. He's spend most of childhood with his master in order to learn the several thousand basic steps, mimicking animal and human behaviour, that makes the Kathkali dance a sign language in itself, once widely understood throughout South India. Years of training and obsessive attention to detail is necessary to master this extremely difficult dance form.
